Lizzy & Will were married in Birmingham this July and it was a wedding that had the whole town talking! From the minute we sat down with Lizzy and her mom, we were more than excited for the big day. Their incredible taste and willingness to get creative and do something different was so refreshing for us! From the sparkler cake to the glowing bars, this wedding was out of the box, and we loved it as did each and every guest. The bride and groom danced the night away alongside their closest family and friends. Not ones to have the night end on a dull note, their guests showered them with confetti as they ran to their vintage getaway car. Congratulations Lizzy & Will! We wish you nothing but laughter and happiness in the years ahead!
HBD: What was your favorite part of the wedding day?
Lizzy: I think the most fun was dancing to the band at the end of the night. They were amazing! Oh, and I really liked our exit with the confetti cannon, it was so much fun!
HBD: What did you like most about the wedding planning process?
Lizzy: I liked that I was able to let y’all take control and plan everything. It made it so much less stressful for me, especially living out of town during the process.
HBD: We love how you changed outfits for the reception! How did you decide what to wear?
Lizzy: The outfit change was totally my mom and sisters’ idea! I wanted to wear something fun and less formal for the reception so that I could easily dance and move around!
HBD: Tell us about your first dance song, how did you choose it?
Lizzy: The reason we picked “What a Wonderful World” for our first dance was because we heard a band play it at another wedding, and we thought it would be different and fitting for us.
HBD: Anything else you would like to share about your wedding or experience with Handley Breaux Designs?
Lizzy: I truly couldn’t have asked for a better team!! Thank you for everything!
