Handley McCrory, Owner & Executive Planner
Owner and Executive Planner Handley McCrory is a Mountain Brook, Alabama native who has always had dreams of one day owning her own event planning company. She attended the College of Charleston and the University of Alabama where she studied Interior Design and Event Planning. After college she returned to Birmingham to work as the Senior Event Coordinator for a wedding venue. After her time working in the event industry, she was able to confidently carry out her dream of starting her own company. Thus, Handley Breaux Designs was born. Handley strives to provide her clients with a full experience -- how the lighting, the architecture of the space, the florals, and all of the details come together to create a mood that accurately reflects the client's personality. Not one to overlook any detail, Handley prides herself in meticulously carrying out every event with grace and ease.
Maggie Keller, Associate Planner
Maggie grew up in Mountain Brook, Alabama and is a recent graduate of The University of Alabama where she majored in Restaurant Hospitality and Management with a concentration in Meetings and Events. After being able to intern under an event manager in Birmingham, she knew the event industry is where she was supposed to be. Being a recent graduate, Maggie is able to bring fun and fresh ideas to the table. Not to mention – her organizational skills are definitely an added bonus!
Clay Greene, Associate Planner
Clay Greene is also a Birmingham, Alabama native. She studied history at Auburn University, and upon graduating moved back to her hometown. Clay became involved in the event world after working for a music booking agency specializing in mostly weddings. While working with them, she fell in love with the special event industry! She has been an events director for a number of different venues in the Birmingham area. After getting to know a number of people in the industry, and working as an events director at Avondale Brewing Co., she knew that this is exactly what she wanted to do. Clay's years of experience and knowledge of the area are such an added asset to our team!
Hannah Masingill, Social Media Director
Hannah Masingill, from Montgomery, Alabama, loves all things events! She attended Auburn University where she studied Political Science, but she always felt drawn to the hustle and bustle of the event world. With her interest in current events, Hannah is the member of our team who is always keeping the rest of us up to date on the latest goings on. Her thumb is always on the pulse of current trends, so she makes the perfect person to run our social media and curate our blog posts. Her calm demeanor is welcomed in our office and such a great quality on wedding days!
