Our sweet bride Ellie came into our office early in 2019 and we were instantly infected by her vivacious and bubbly personality. We loved her immediately! No wonder Sean picked Ellie to spend the rest of his life with. The love Ellie and Sean have for one another was evident throughout their August wedding day. We were brought to tears more than once! What made their day even more special was Ellie’s dad officiating their ceremony and the personal vows Ellie and Sean shared with one another in front of everyone who meant the most to them! Ellie and the Tarence family were a dream to work with, and we couldn’t have asked for a better wedding day! We loved getting to know this sweet family and to help marry their first daughter. Congratulations, Ellie and Sean we wish you a lifetime of happiness!

HBD: What was your favorite part of your wedding day?

Ellie: One of my favorite parts of my wedding day were the little moments between all the events of the day. I remember getting to have intentional, sweet moments with so many people throughout the day that I was able to enjoy because I wasn’t stressing about logistics. One of my favorite moments though was the first look with my dad because we are incredibly close, and I did not expect to be as emotional as I was. Also, getting to eat a private dinner with my husband right after the ceremony was so special because we got to enjoy time with just each other before the reception started. We practiced our first dance after we ate in the dining room, and it was such a sweet memory.

HBD: What did you like the most out of the wedding planning process?

Ellie: My favorite part of the wedding planning process was meeting with Handley and her team at the office. I would sometimes come in stressed and every single time I would leave so relieved that they were taking care of everything. We always got work done, but it was always full of laughing when we would have meetings - I always looked forward to that! It was so much fun though to see how many details go in to planning a wedding and then see everything come together on the wedding day!

HBD: Tell us about your first dance song and why it was so special.

Ellie: We chose “You are the Best Thing” by Ray LaMontagne. Sean and I decided we wanted something a little more upbeat since I knew our ceremony was going to be very emotional for us both. We felt that thing song was a fun way to kick off the reception and we both love the lyrics. We actually added a lift as a part of the dance and it was so much fun because I don’t think people expected that. I smiled the entire time and it is a song that will forever be special to us both!

HBD: Your dress was so beautiful! Tell us why you chose it.

Ellie: My dress was from Heidi Elnora Atelier, and I absolutely loved it! I never thought I’d go with a strapless dress, but it ended up being perfect because our wedding was in the summer so it was great for the season. I didn’t want a very flashy dress, so I chose mine because it was timeless and elegant. My biggest request was a low back, so that was my favorite part.
