Courtney & Michael’s August wedding was a fairytale brought to life! From her gorgeous dress to his sweet smile, there was so much love surrounding this wonderful day! Courtney & Michael dated long distance up until they got married, so it was truly a celebration that this couple gets to spend the rest of their lives together! It was a joy to watch them express their love for one another in front of family and close friends. We enjoyed every minute of working with Courtney and bringing her wedding dreams to life. We hope the move to Florida is a great one, congratulations Courtney and Michael!

What was your favorite part of the wedding day?

My favorite part without a doubt was seeing Michael down the aisle for the first time that day. That single moment when the sanctuary doors opened and I saw him standing there made all the stressors of not doing a first look worth it! All the emotions and giddy feelings rush over you at once and it is just amazing. My second favorite part was dancing with Michael and our family and friends on the dance floor at the reception.. it was so FUN and our band, the Schmohawks were incredible

What was your favorite part of the wedding planning process?

Hmmm.. this is hard for me because I am such a planner myself and really loved all of it but I would have to say my favorite part were the small details like cake design, table cloths, and flowers. Seeing it all come together on wedding day was so cool!

Your dress was so timeless and classic! Tell us why it was your favorite.

I always knew that I wanted to wear a wedding dress that was classy and elegant but had no idea what that was going to look like! Once I tried on that Monique Lhuillier dress at Ivory & White I knew it was perfect, I felt so comfortable and classy! The low back and bow are what sold me on this dress, mixed with the long train, it makes such a statement while remaining elegant!

Tell us about your first dance song and how you chose it

We did our first dance to "I'm So Glad You're Mine" by Al Green. Michael was particular about the first dance song so I let him choose but it was a perfect mixture of fun and danceable! And the lyrics are cute too
