Explore: MIX for Good

Last week I grabbed my friends and headed down to Trim Tab Brewery for the MIX for Good event. The Alabama Power Foundation sponsored the event and donated $10 for every person in attendance to Red Mountain Park Junior Board Council. So you tell me free event, free beer, and free food and I'm IN! Guests mingled and networked and talked about the renaissance that is happening in Birmingham right now. I'm not sure you've noticed, but Birmingham is cool again. We are chocked full of creatives, intellectuals, movers and shakers...it is a pretty great time to be here! DJ B.Brian kept the vibe good all night while the Shindigs food truck put everyone in a food coma. Zyp Bikes set up a booth to spread the word about the 400 bikes they've installed around Birmingham (which are awesome by the way..blog post coming soon about those). Be on the lookout for the next MIX event in Birmingham on November 8!
