What a perfect February wedding it was for Elisa and Clay with the ceremony at Canterbury United Methodist Church and reception following at Scene Gallery. From the sweet letters that the couple wrote, to each other to the adorable get away car Elisa and Clay drove away in, every moment was impeccable. We love detail, and this wedding day was full of it! We hope you love this wedding day as much as we do! Thank you Rachel and Noah Ray for the stunning photographs!Read More
Last week I collaborated with some fantastic vendors for a styled photo shoot. Styled photo shoots are a time for me to really get creative. I love them! Every idea that I have that a bride doesn't go for, goes into a folder for future reference. So sometimes, those ideas get to come to life in photo shoots!Read More
What an incredibly beautiful bride Katie was! In Alabama, our summer weather is finicky, and when inclement weather threatened, Katie didn't even panic. She was a cool, calm, and collected bride all day long. We lucked out with a somewhat cool overcast afternoon that was perfect for pictures, and just enough rain for good luck later in the day. With a traditional color palette of pale pinks, creams, and greens...this was the epitome of a beautiful southern wedding!
I have known Katie for quite some time actually. She and I went to middle school and high school together, and her mom taught at the high school. So planning this wedding with them was a very welcomed reunion!
If you were to ask a group of people that knew Katie & Edward to tell you about them, I'm pretty positive that every person would have a similar response. They are some of the kindest people you will meet and so much fun. Usually at rehearsal dinners, I listen to a series of funny college stories followed by a few of the couple's parents' friends sharing some childhood stories. But for Katie & Edward, the toasts were all a perfect mix of funny stories and meaningful stories. Each toast included how much every person in that room truly loved them and admired their love for each other. And that, my friends, carried on right into the wedding day. Katie & Edward and their bridal party were the most fun, kind, and thoughtful group of people! They danced right into the night and it was surely an unforgettable night!

We have arrived at yet another Monday morning, and in efforts to make this one less dreadful than the others...I would like to share with you some beautiful images from our styled photo shoot a few months back. As most of you know, our "Sail Away With Me" photo shoot was published on both August Willows and Weddings Unveiled! (yay!) Many months of planning went into the shoot to make sure every detail was perfect, and it wouldn't have come together without the wonderful vendor team we had. A lot of people do not know how much work goes into a wedding day, photo shoot, and even just the day to day workings of my office. So today, we take you behind the scenes to show you every step that went into the photo shoot. Enjoy!Read More
Sunsets, sailboats, and seafood. These are all ingredients for one of the most picturesque proposals I've ever seen! I have had the pleasure of getting to know Vanna & Bryan planning their upcoming August wedding, and fell in love with them from the beginning. I personally have an attachment to Charleston, South Carolina because I went to school there my freshman year of college. Every time I visit, I surprise myself with how I can become even more enamored with its beauty and charm. In honor of today being National Proposal Day, we are sharing Vanna & Bryan's proposal photos as well as their engagement session with Jett Walker Photography. Enjoy!Read More
