Theres nothing better than summer weddings, and this happy couple gets to enjoy their big day on June 23 at The Club. We are so excited for Douglas and Hayden to tie the knot and start their journey through life together. Their day is quickly approaching, and they are thrilled about it! To let you get to know Douglas and Hayden better, we asked Douglas some questions!
HBD: How did you two meet?
Douglas: I was a freshmen at the University of Alabama and Hayden was a sophomore. We were in computer science class together- learning how to code computers (neither of our strong suits). He will always say I am smarter because of this class- where I helped him pass the class.
HBD: Tell us about the engagement!
D: Hayden's family has a beach house in Orange Beach, AL. The beach is always our favorite place to go and we typically spend weeks at a time down there during the summer. On the first day I arrived at the beach we had plans with his family to go out to eat to celebrate his sister's graduation. Before dinner we decided to have a glass of wine on their pier. Next thing I know he is on one knee proposing!
HBD: What are you most excited about for wedding day?
D: We are most excited about dancing all night with our friends and family on the dance floor!
HBD: What can we find you and Hayden doing in your free time?
D: We love to spend time outside- hiking, walking, grilling in the backyard- anything outdoors!
HBD: What has been your favorite part of wedding planning?
D: My favorite part of wedding planning has probably been the amount of time I have had hanging out with my mom. She has done so much for me during this process- it would not have been the same without her!
