We are deep in the planning process with Sara Beth & Coty for their upcoming August wedding, and we are loving every minute! They will be getting married here in Birmingham, as it is Sara Beth's hometown, in a Mountain Brook Community Church ceremony and reception at the Grand Bohemian. Sara Beth and Coty met up with photographer Magen Davis to capture these photos for their engagement session, and we love how they capture their personality! -How did you two meet?
Sara Beth: Coty always says that he noticed me at the company picnic the week after I moved to Boone, NC. A couple of weeks after that, I went to a Bible study through a local church, and Coty was leading that night. He was sitting next to another girl, so I assumed they were dating. It quickly became clear that this wasn't the case as Coty started spending extra time talking to me and inviting me to do things!
What is your favorite thing about each other ?
Sara Beth: My favorite thing about Coty is how supportive and encouraging he is to everyone around him. He thinks I can do anything, and he supports me in everything. He is the same with his everyone around him, continually encouraging and lifting people up.
Coty: My favorite thing about Sara Beth is her willingness to listen and empathize. She is loyal to her friends and family, caring for their well being through service and love.
What are you most looking forward to about marriage?
Sara Beth: We are most looking forward to not having to say goodbye at the end of the day! No more driving to our separate homes.
What are you most looking forward to about the wedding?
Sara Beth: We cannot wait to get married surrounded by our friends and family! It will be so fun to experience the beginning of our lives together with the people we love most around us. That plus amazing food and dancing? What could be better!?
What has been your favorite part about wedding planning?
Sara Beth: I have loved seeing how the details of wedding planning fall into place to create something that truly expresses Coty's and my relationship and personality. I had no idea that I would see us reflected in so many little ways! That has made this process so exciting and fun.
