The Holiday Season has come and gone and we are now forced return to the grind of normal daily life. Now if any of you are like me, you've been wearing elastic waist banded pants AKA leggings AKA not real pants for the majority of the past couple of months. Sadly my friends, it is no longer socially acceptable to sport my favorite leggings and oversized sweater in public any longer. This return to the real world also coincides with engagement season. Many of you have recently gotten engaged and therefore are probably embarking on a "wedding day detox." In order to shed those pesky holiday lbs that insist on hanging around, its important to work out for at least two hours a day and lift weights no lighter than twenty pounds. Yes. This is the only way. HA JK LOL. Unless you are a member of the WWE...this is not a realistic plan. Workout plans are completely customizable for each and every lifestyle, and its important to remember that each body is different and reacts differently to certain workout plans.
Now before you rush off to your local gym, Pure Barre, or yoga studio... allow me to tell you about a simple way to introduce proper nutrients into your life. After a holiday season filled with parties, unhealthy foods, and entirely too little vegetables, your body is craving these nutrients. With this I introduce to you Juice Plus. Juice Plus is a little capsule that contains concentrated farm fresh nutrition from 25 fruits, vegetables, berries, and grains. With all of our busy lifestyles, taking a supplement is WAY easier than actually sitting down and eating consuming all of these foods. It truly is an easy way to ease back into a healthy lifestyle and help you get ready for your wedding!
My friend Kathryn is a Juice Plus representative. She has been spreading the word about all of its amazing benefits and currently is putting on a "30 Day Challenge". The "30 Day Challenge" consists of two Juice Plus shakes a day along with one big clean meal and two clean snacks. This is a great way to jumpstart your new routine and get in the habit of making healthy choices. For more information on how to eat clean click here to read tips from Birmingham blogger My Life Well Loved. I know that normally my blog posts are a little more fluffy, but I want to incorporate healthy living into some posts as well because it is so much a part of all of our lives. We are all constantly trying the latest and greatest health trend so its nice to hear of what all is out there! If you're comfortable, post your favorite workout, diet, health trend in the comments below!
